Well It's Sunday afternoon and so far I've had a good weekend, my first back in the 'BIG CITY' lol.
Yesterday I had a leisurely lie in ( I won't reveal the time I finally got up) I can see my mum shaking her head at me for it! In the afternoon I headed to Oxford Street to meet my friend. I went earlier than we had planned to meet to get a little look round shops first. Although I made a huge error. I forgot how busy Oxford Street gets on a Saturday! I usually head there on a weekday in the mornings. It was so busy that I couldn't look properly or as I like to.
So I went to meet my friend and she presented me with these lovely chocolates!! hhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

The thing about going into central London is that never ceases to amaze me is you can always find new places and streets! we wandered for a while chatting and catching up. Eventually we ended up at a branch of one of our favourite places..... .................. NANDO'S. We spent forever checking and choosing with the menu even though we know it back to front! We both settled with the same choice. Chicken Livers medium spice with a crusty bread roll and spicy rice. Washed down with a glass of rose wine and of course some chocolate ice cream to polish the lot off!
I returned home phoned my Dad, Grandma and Brother then settled to have an evening off DVDs with 'The History Boys' and 'Little Miss Sunshine'.................and perhaps a few of my newly aquired chocolates hehehehehe :)

This morning after another lie in (I'm blushing now and feeling slighty guilty as I notice my flat needs hoovering!) I wandered into Harrow which is where I live. I bought a birthday present for my friend back home in Carlisle and I'll give this to her at the weekend.
Well I'm off to MAYBE get the hoover out! I hope everyone is having a nice weekend.

That sounds like a good day Lydia and everyone needs a lie in now and then. The chocolates look positively yummy!
I've only been to the UK once and we spent most of the time in London - you know, seeing all the major sights. But a few of those days G and I just wandered about, taking the tube, stopping in the odd shop. We long to go back not only to London but so many other places in England as well. I am hoping it's next year.
My philosophy about hoovering is that when there are more fun things to do or art to create - it takes a back seat. Dust bunnies make good pets.lol!

ahh chocolate is a food, did you know that and women need it to help their moods.. so go for it sweetPea! You couldn't feel any worse than I did from my over indulgence...

Oxford Street sounds fun - we have Oxford St in Sydney city but it is Gay Pardise - lots of fun to walk around !!!!
What did you think of little Miss Sunshine?
oh & you deserve a leisurely lie in - after the past month, you probably have alot of rest to catch up on xox

Chocolates, yum-o!!! What a good friend you have there Lydia!
How cool to live near London! Maybe one day I'll get to England.
My vaccuuming philosophy is this; if there is anything at all better to do, then go do it. Floors will always need vaccuuming!
